Oh look, Paul’s writing for another website

Yeah, but this one is mine, free, and sooo Web 2.0. I’ll be updating this hopefully soon with the theme I’m designing (you can catch a sneak peek at josiahmiller.com). It’s very sexy. Other than that, I’m just your average blogger, don’t hate, appreciate.

Oh, and so you know, I’m using Flock for posting, flickr for photos, del.icio.us for bookmarking, and WordPress.com (of course) for hosting. So yeah, I’m addicted.

    Hey Mark,nWe know that people respond emotionally much faster than they do when beaten over the head with facts and figures. Creative genius Tony Schwartz figured that out years ago. The idea when doing spot creative is to identify and solve consumer problems in language they absolutely understand. Medical imaging companies are making big money by scaring the hell out of hypochondriacs. What they are usually offering is to do a total body scan and hunt for potential problems. Most medical plans will not pay for these voluntary scans, so the patient pays out of pocket. The bottom line for the potential customer in this case is the burning need to know whether or not there is something growing inside him that shouldn’t be there…or not. How would you appeal to a person with that kind of concern? Could you build a spot that could drive a customer to call the imaging center? Sure you could.
